Guy M. currently lives in Tel Aviv. He is completing his medical degree at Tel Aviv University while working in medical entrepreneurship, leadership, and Medical Device development. During his studies he led two humanitarian projects in Africa and Central America.
Before medicine, Guy spent five years as a combat medic-fighter in Unit 669, the Israel Air Force's elite combat rescue unit. He documented those years in meticulous detail, producing what became a landmark bestseller in Israeli military literature: From Zero to One Hundred. His second book, Lo Mechachim Likriya (Not Waiting for the Call), chronicles Unit 669 through the October 7th attack and the Iron Swords war.
His opinion columns, articles, and essays are published in Israel's leading newspapers. He lectures internationally to corporate leaders, military commanders, educators, and community groups.
From Zero to One Hundred was nominated for the Yitzhak Sadeh Prize for Military Literature and is studied in IDF leadership and command seminars, as well as commander-training programmes across Israel's defence establishment.
